    [...] WP-SlimStat! It looked great, but I initially had trouble installing it on WordPress 2.0. It actually broke the rest of the blog when enabled! According to various forum posts, this seemed to be a common problem. I found this post on deep jive interests that resolved the problem and it now runs fine (and looks great!) [...]

    @Pero: are you using PHP 4? Please use our support forum to discuss this issue you’re having.
    @Michael: that’s very strange, what do you mean for “broke my blog”? Pages were blank? Have you tried to increase the memory limit for PHP?

    @Pero: Please disable the plugin ‘WPSlimStat Dashboard Widgets’, I’ll submit a fix on the repository for this as soon as possible.

    Thanks for the fast reply. I was in panic and needed a quick fix, so I just removed the slimstat folder. The pages were blank, yes. I am running 2.0.5 without a problem now.

    A fix has been released, but I haven’t changed the version of the plugin, since most users are not affected by this problem and I don’t want to bother them and force those people to upgrade again. Please send me a private message if you need to know how to reinstall WP SlimStat without losing your data. Thank you for letting me know about the bug!

    Hi,
    I’ve just tested 2.08. Thanks for your great work!
    In panel1.php is a small mistake at the reference for the url.gif : $slimstat_plugin_url /wp-slimstat/images/url.gif.

    Do you see the extra space between slimstat_plugin_url and /wp-slimstat?
    It shouldn’t be there cause it ruins the optic of the first view by not finding the gif.

    best regards,
    Julius

    Hello,

    Your plugins seems very nice,but when I click on slimstat in the dashboard,the screen is covered by things like this:

    Notice: Undefined index: HTTPS in C:\Program Files\EasyPHP 2.0b1\www\wordpress\wp-content\plugins\wp-slimstat\view\index.php on line 36

    Notice: Undefined property: wp_slimstat_view::$day_filter_active in C:\Program Files\EasyPHP 2.0b1\www\wordpress\wp-content\plugins\wp-slimstat\view\wp-slimstat-view.php on line 158

    Do you have an idea on how to solve this?

    Best regards, Olivier Sermann

    Hi Olivier, that’s because your PHP box is configured to show warning and notices. Please refer to this link for further information.

    Anyway, thank you for pointing that out, this problem will be fixed in 2.0.9. Please let me know if you want to test this new release before it’s publicly available.

    Promette molto bene ma da quando l’ho installato, diversi mesi fa, quasi tutte le tabelle sono vuote, senza dati, con la sconsolante scritta “nessun dato da visualizzare”. Le uniche tabelle con qualche info sono:
    - “pagine in assoluto più popolari”
    - “informazioni su wp-slimstat”.

    Dove sbaglio?

    Hi,

    I just upgraded to the newest version of the plug-in–but now I don’t see the IP addresses of the visitors to my site, like I used to. Now I just get zero’s for the first numbers, like 0.0.0.71. Is there a fix for this? Thanks! (I’m using WordPress 3.0.1.)

    Thanks for your last version for HTTPS compliance. However, my webbrowser is stil crying.

    In wp-slimstat.php, the WP_PLUGIN_URL value in lines 614 and 628 links to an absolute http url. Thus it raised an error on my webrowser when i am in https mode for my admin pages. Maybe you can change this value to a relative url?

    ah, other thing, your server banned my IP so I need to usea proxy to access to your website.

    Hi there. Thank you so much for the plugin. It’s fantastic. For some reason, I did a plugin update today (8/17/2010), and the report no longer seems to be showing “Details about Recent Visits”. The last data showing is my IP address from yesterday, but when I go to the Raw Data page, I can see that there are several visits today from other IP addresses.

    Just FYI. Thanks! My Slim Stat version is 2.1, just upgraded today through WordPress Plugins.

    Ciao, mi fa piacere scoprire che sei proprio tu l’autore di wp-slimstat :p
    Saresti in grado di renderlo compatibile col plugin Super Cache? Normalmente un modo funzionale è quello di “alloggiare” il codice delle statistiche in uno script esterno richiamato da un link css, e che restituisce una pagina vuota ma con degli header di “no-cache”

    Hi Camu!

    I just installed SlimStats on a site I’m working on and I really like it!

    But please fix line 41 in wp-slimstat-dashboard.php from:

    $this->slimstat_plugin_url = (FORCE_SSL_ADMIN || $_SERVER['HTTPS']==’on’)?str_replace(‘http://’, ‘https://’, WP_PLUGIN_URL):WP_PLUGIN_URL;

    to:

    $this->slimstat_plugin_url = (FORCE_SSL_ADMIN || (isset($_SERVER['HTTPS']) && ($_SERVER['HTTPS'] == ’1′ || strtolower($_SERVER['HTTPS'])==’on’)))?str_replace(‘http://’, ‘https://’, WP_PLUGIN_URL):WP_PLUGIN_URL;

    Otherwise it throws some annoying errors with some configurations.
